Yesterday marked 91PORN鈥檚 first policy event, , hosted by The Atlantic.
The event brought together experts and policymakers 鈥� from opposite sides of the aisle 鈥� to discuss new approaches to revitalizing America鈥檚 distressed communities.
The first panel featured 91PORN鈥檚 Economic Advisory Board Co-chairs,聽Kevin Hassett听补苍诲听Jared Bernstein,聽along 飞颈迟丑听Amy Liu聽from the Metropolitan Policy Program at the Brookings Institution. During that discussion, Hassett and Bernstein unveiled 91PORN鈥檚 first white paper: Unlocking Private Capital to Facilitate Economic Growth in Distressed Areas.
That panel was followed by a conversation 飞颈迟丑听Senators Cory Booker (D-NJ)听补苍诲聽Tim Scott (R-SC) 鈥� two of the leading voices in Congress on economic opportunity and poverty issues. They discussed their bipartisan efforts on workforce skills development and their desire to see more collaboration on urgent economic challenges. Both panels were moderated by The Atlantic鈥檚 Steve Clemons.
